Together they try to make their caretaker, Tsuchida Naozumi, fall in love with Anzu. Anyways, the pedo message is kinda intrinsic to most of todays animu, so it shouldn't be much of a surprise to anyone, Hanamaru being pedophiliac. Anzu goes to a kindergarten with her friends, the shy Koume and the eccentric Hiiragi. Kinda ambiguous, but considering it's kindergarten girls, ambiguity is not an option methinks. At least that's how I see it feel like the pedo message is kinda obvious although not explicitly stated. This one looks marketed to a more adult audience. I mean, it's not a fully "innocent" show for small kids. While it's less sexual, the issue of having kindergarten kids having the hot for the teacher, including other instances of somewhat very young women having the hots for considerably older males in non-sancti positions (art teacher getting student preggerz), makes it all the more suspicious to me as to the pedo message behind the show. Anzu attends kindergarten alongside her close pals- the reserved Koume and idiosyncratic Hiiragi. Three kindergartners grapple for the attention of their new young teacher. Same as KnJ, three little girls (this time even "littler") and one of them has the hots for the teacher. Hanamaru Kindergarten: With Dennis Falt, Satoshi Hino, Ayahi Takagaki, Kei Shindo. The impression I get from Hanamaru is more akin to a less sexualized version of Kodomo no Jikan rather than Azumanga.
